Christmas fund for less advantaged

We would very much like to raise some funds to provide a little extra Christmas spirit in the way of an extra gift for hospitalised detained adult patients with mental illness and learning disabilities we have a family member who has spent the last ten years sectioned under the mental health act purely for administration of his required medication which he can refuse and deteriorate very quickly on this particular unit there are currently 15 patients including our family member they are all adults some with family some without they can be very lonely !!
we always buy them some small gifts and wrap them and take them every Christmas morning to see their faces is unbelievable and worth every penny it is an emotional time for them and us on Christmas morning !!!!!! 
however due to new government legislation and funding for private places our family member could be relocating in the new year to his own place funded by the local authority with 24/7 care to help support him , so this year could be his last Christmas spent on this unit after 10 years in hospital alone and 37 years under mental health we would like to give each and every one of the patients a little bit extra this year maybe in the form of a gift card for Tesco each as they all use their local store for provisions we was thinking maybe a gift card of £50 each if in our wildest dreams  this was achieved through the crowd funding it would be wonderful , if that was possible , we would then like to donate any extra money raised to the homeless organisation hull homeless outreach for a little something for them and maybe the local rspca so the furry animals can have a treat too so whilst this is in no way beneficial financially to me personally I hope you can all donate a little something to make Christmas that little bit more special for the less advantaged and let’s give them a wonderful festive period  thankyou very much for taking the time to read this and hopefully for your donation regards Dave and jill
