Christine's Father Medical Expences

We are Michael and Lisa Donnici, neighbors and friends of Christine. We have followed her journey to and from Panama to rescue her very ill father and hope to help her in any way we can. Setting up this GoFundMe is one way we hope to do that.
Her father, Clarence Sandfort, suffered a stroke just days before the Christmas holiday and Christine was off, leaving her family and friends behind, for a country she knew nothing about and where she did not speak the launguage. She did not know her father's condition or what she was stepping into.
Clarence's illness is very high maintenance, as he is a diabetic. Christine is learning about his condition and diet and working to do all that she can to prolong his life and keep him healthy and comfortable. Her unexpected travels, 11 days in Panama, bringing him home and now completely changing things to accomodate his needs has put a major burden on their finances. Being in a tropical climate, Christine's father doesn't even have winter clothes. Clarence requires the most basic of necessities.
Your kind donations will help to recoup the thousands of dollars that Christine and her family are out recovering her father from Panama, the medical expenses he has already incurred, necessities here in KC including medical supplies and clothing and any incidentals. We want to make sure they don't go into the negative, as Clarence will only have limited funds coming in from Social Security, and this will take a little while to get rolling now that they are stateside.
