On January 4, 2015, just one week after celebrating his 20th birthday, Christian Lecler was fatally shot in an attempt to hold him up for his coat.
Christian was with his younger brother and sister when he was held up at gun point. Worried about keeping his brother and sister out of harms way he ran from the gunman to protect his family. Christian was shot twice, once in his leg and lower back.
Christian fought helplessly for his survival over the next few days. Undergoing a leg amputation in an attempt to save his life. In the late hours of Tuesday, January 6, 2015, Christian lost his battle.
This tragic and unforeseen occurence has left Christian's family beyond devasted and broken.
Christian was a beloved and devoted father, grandson, son, brother, and friend. He graduated from college in August 2014, wishing to begin his career and provide a better life forhimself and his family.
Upon dealing with the unbearable grief of Christian's tragic loss; his family is left to give him a proper wake and burial by personal means.
