Hi there! I am excited to announce that I have established a GoFundMe account in the name of ‘Christian Ebenezer Jireh’ (CEJ) to help desperately poor and vulnerable people, the poorest of the poor, in remote African villages, slums and refugee camps.

CEJ is registered grassroots African Charity working amongst people who lead desperate and hopeless lives, trapped in poverty and despair, far from the eyes of the West and the help of most international agencies.

CEJ goes where no westerner can go, touching and changing the lives of vulnerable African widows/widowers, orphans, and disabled people.

In 2016 while in Africa, I was deeply moved by the terrible poverty of individuals living without hope in villages, slums and refugee camps. In response to the desperation I encountered, I established the Christian Ebenezer Jireh Charity in Africa to offer ongoing, strategic, long term assistance and hope.  I am working two jobs as a Support Worker in Western Australia and for the past two years have been sending all my disposable income to CEJ in Africa where three trusted local friends assist in the distribution of funds to the neediest in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.

CEJ’s aim is first to address the basic needs of sanitation, medicine, food, clothing and shelter.  We then aim to build long term sustainability, with priority given to educating children and vocational training for widows/widowers, vulnerable and disabled people then setting them up in small businesses such as selling food, making clothing, or providing other services.  The education of orphans and vulnerable children is a top priority.

During 2017 and 2018 we saw many lives transformed. Food, water, clothing, bedding, medicine, education and training have been freely given to many desperate people. Uniforms and books are provided and school fees are being paid for dozens of orphans. We provide Widows/Widowers and the vulnerable with rented land together with tools, seeds, equipment and training in agricultural management and animal husbandry.  Sewing machines, materials and training enable some opportunity to earn a meagre income for themselves.  Disabled people receive wheelchairs, crutches, etc and ongoing cash and training is made available to assist with the establishment of small businesses, eg selling clothes or food. Bibles in different languages have been received joyfully.

If you could support ‘Christian Ebenezer Jireh’ (CEJ) GoFundMe by donating and then sharing this with your network, many more lives will be transformed.  Even a small donation makes a radical difference to the desperate and poverty stricken.

After GoFundMe’s deduction of 7%, YOU ARE PROMISED 100% OF YOUR DONATION WILL BE RECEIVED BY THE WIDOWS/WIDOWERS, ORPHANS AND DISABLED MENTIONED ABOVE.
