Chris Jackson Medical Fund
My fiance, Chris Jackson, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 liver disease with cirrhosis and ascites.
Chris is a local musician in the Fort Walton Beach, Fl area that has touched many lives with his musical talent. Due to his diagnosis he has not been able to perform since the beginning of December 2016 which has taken our household from two incomes to one.
He has been in and out of hospitals and visits with his liver specialist (gastrointerologist) since then, with little relief and constant pain, difficulty breathing due to fluid build up in his abdomen and around his lungs that needs to be drained periodically.
The medical bills are starting to add up.
On Chris' most current visit at his G.I. Dr. he has been referred UAB, a specialized hospital in liver transplants, in order to start the lengthly process of a liver transplant.
I am not one to ask for hand-outs and it took a lot for me to start this campain, but my fiance's condition and severety of this situation is creating a financial hardship.
All donations will go towards medical expenses such as doctor's visits, procedures, medications and travel to and from UAB which is located approximately 5 hours from where we live. Any donations will be greatly appeciated.
