Chris Cook's Stroke Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Last November, while working in Scotland, Chris Cook suffered a severe and life-changing stroke and was rushed to hospital, at the young age of 42. Despite being unconscious and given days to live, Chris kept fighting and proved the doctors wrong. However, the stroke has left Chris unable to move his right side and has affected his speech ability – a combination that refuses to allow Chris to be independent.
The NHS can only do so much, and Chris needs extensive rehab to make a substantial recovery and fundraising will allow him to access the best medical resources and rehabilitation opportunities to speed up his recovery.
In the past he has helped so many other people, at his cost, so now is the time for us to all join together and help such a lovely kind man who deserves better. The money we raise will hopefully help Chris to eventually live a normal life where he is able to talk, walk and get back his independence. Any donation at any time will be greatly appreciated and will contribute to help improve his quality of life now and in the future.
From Chris, his family, his friends and myself, thank you for your on-going support.
