Choppy's Amputated Leg

Our sweet Choppy was playing around with a plastic bag when she got startled and started flaring around running causing her to hit the
wall. She let out a huge cry and wouldn't put any pressure on her paw
so we knew she was not okay. We took her to the emergency vet and
X-Rays showed her elbow was fractured. Then we brought her over to
the emergency clinic where they determined it could not be surgically
fixed and her sweet arm would be AMPUTATED. My sweet baby
Choppy means the WORLD to us and she is in so much pain right now.
She is hooked up to 3 different pain meds overnight at the clinic just to stay stabilized. This was all so unexpected and we are absolutely
devastated to say the least. Because she is in so much pain and needs
24/7 medical care,as well as the surgery, they estimated us at 4,600.
Our innocent sweet Choppy will be having her front leg amputated
bright and early tomorrow morning.
