Chongtou Lor

Chongtou Lor is a loving son, a protective brother, a caring husband to, Pa, and an amazing father to 3 beautiful girls Anastasia 11, Livinia 8, and Sophia 5. He has been through so much within the 32 years of his life (he’ll be 33 on Feb 1st). He was once an athletic person until 2008 when his kidney failed due to hypertension and IGA Nephropathy. He had to undergo into dialysis and be on the waiting list for kidney transplantation. Meanwhile, he had an Ulcer in 2010. Then, the happiest moment happened in 2011 for his family. He finally got his kidney transplant but with various complications he was followed by a gallbladder removal right after the transplant. Many years had gone by, they were living like a normal family, but with an unexpected future his health started to decline. In 2017, he knew something was wrong with his kidney, but hospital results were show nothing. He tried his best go back to work and maintain a normal lifestyle, but his health just wouldn’t leave him alone. He started going to the hospital more and more not knowing what would happen next. Everything was getting frustrating, it was one after another with every hospital that he stayed at because his results showed nothing every time. Every doctor was trying their best to help resolve his issue but there was nothing that could be done. He was using so much time off from work that it affected his employment. He knew with his spouse’s income that it was a no turn away to afford all these expenses along with their personal bills, so he decided to apply for disability. Results came in and the government turned him down with not enough evidence. Chongtou and his family was disappointed and upset. Who can they turn to for help? In his thoughts, nobody, so he returns to find new employments and tries his best to work things out. Job hopping was not fun, but he had to do what he can to help his family survive. Turns out in 2018 with multiple hospital stay, doctors finally find the reason behind it all. His transplant kidney was rejecting his body. He questions all the potential he can but what intentional can it be. He followed everything the doctors recommend, and nothing came into place. Chongtou and his family are suffering mentally, physically, and emotionally. If you could please help donate to their family and help them during this devastating time.
