Chocolate Milk Mile for Charity
Tax deductible
The Rhode Island Chocolate Milk Mile is a non-profit event being held on July 21st at the Cranston High School West Track that raises money for The Ronald McDonald House. Much of the costs to put together the race featuring top national talent in the sport of high school track and cross country has already been paid for. The money raised here would allow for a larger donation to be given to the Ronald McDonald House of Providence which is in a constant need for donations to be able to house families that are living with a child in urgent medical care. This organization helps supply families with a sense of comfort during tough times while keeping them close to their child in a nearby hospital. This is the charity of choice as Head Cross Country coach from North Kingstown High School, Paul Tetreault, had his daughter living in the house for 6 months after the birth of his first grandchild. Through fundraising and toiletry drives to the house we recognized the need to help out the organization in any way we could as they rely on donations to be able to give these families a sense of home away from home. We'd appreciate any help you can give. Every dollar counts in the eyes of a child and their family in need.
