CHI Students Vote! - Local Elections 2019

We are a coalition of educators, education advocates, and community members working to mobilize Chicago's students for the upcoming elections. We will eliminate a major barrier to participation: transportation. We will provide bus transportation from meetup sites (near participating schools) to an early voting site, host a post-voting rally, and return participants to their schools. We recognize the value of youth participation and know their voices deserve to be heard. So, we are taking action to get them to the polls!
On Saturday, February 3rd students will march to the polls! Students will engage in voter education prior to early voting and engage with students from across the city on the day of the march. As we did in November, we want to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students who participate. $10 dollars provides one student with breakfast, snacks and full lunch for the day. Please help us to show our young people that each of their voices is important and that each vote matters!
