Childrens Cancer Center of Lebanon

Donation protected
Dear friends,

If you have ever lost a loved one to cancer, or know someone near and dear to you who went through the heartache of losing someone to it, you would know the importance of such a campaign, especially when it helps save the lives of kids and young adults who have not yet begun to live their lives.

When I was around 8 years old, my cousin, who was the same age as my younger sister, went through 2 years of chemotherapy before leaving us. And that was the first time I saw the pain in his mother's eye, crying out of denial, not accepting the fact of her only child's passing. I went through the same pain when I was 15 years old, as I sat in a hospital room, my uncle already in a coma, waiting to say his last goodbye.

Cancer is never an easy thing, and sometimes I blame myself for not seeing him sooner, or not spending as much time as I should've when he was still going through it. And I think most of us have.

This fundraiser is a small gesture towards the Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon, who, like many others, do their best to help children up to 18 years old fight the battle and win.

Every year I make small anonymous donations to the Center, but this year I would like to share this experience with you. Whatever amount we manage to raise, whether 1000€ or not, I will donate the same amount on Christmas Day.

Thank you for your time!
