Children left from Sgt Ben James

Benjamin James was a part of the 116th infantry guard during his time in the Army. He was a great soldier and learned how always show confidence on the outside while never showing perceived weakness inside. As so many veterans of war do, Sgt James battled with mental health which including depression and PTSD. Sgt James lost that battle against his inner demons and PTSD. Though he actively sought out help from his Church, he still struggled to drop his guard and let anyone 100% in to his pain. He was always smiling and a hero to many, especially his children. Though he was working numerous jobs, in the end, he was not able to leave much to his children. We weren't able to stop veteran suicide as we all wish we could, but we can honor him and his service by helping this heroes children with financial need and give them savings bonds.

As I said, we can't always prevent this illness in time, but we can help his family as he signed the line and protected ours. Please give anything you can for his family and if you can't, please share this in the hopes that in doing so you are helping it reach more people.
