Child burn victim & fam needs help

Donation protected
My niece, Miranda Green was injured/burned from a bonfire accident during the evening of October 12, 2018, along with her best friend.  Both girls have severe burn injuries & both were transported hours away from our home town to a children's hospital. There is a story in our local newspaper (Galesburg Register Mail (Galesburg, IL)) that has some details of the accident. Also in the article is information for a Go Fund Me for the other child injured & her family.  Miranda is in the Intensive Care Unit with extensive 3rd degree burn injuries caused by a bonfire where an accelerant was used. The injury photo is of Miranda's upper leg.  She is also burned more severely on her stomach. She has burns to her right foot, right hand & areas of her arm, & flashburn  on her face. Miranda has to undergo at least one operation.  The operation(s) cannot begin until her blood thickness level gets reregulated & maintains the level for a predetermined amount of time in order for Miranda to safely be operated on.  The reason for this is Miranda has a genetic disease that causes her blood to clot.  Miranda almost lost her life a little over a year & a half ago before being diagnosed after it was found that Miranda had (continues to have) several blood clots in her lungs. She will be on blood thinners for the rest of her life. Because of this, situations, such as a surgery has to be monitored closely. There's no estimated amount  of time, at this moment, that Miranda will be hospitalized. Miranda's mother will be out of work (unpaid) during some or all of this time. Along with the loss of this income other expenses are mounting quickly. Miranda's stepfather must continue to work, but is driving the round trip from Galesburg, IL to Springfield, IL &  back on an almost daily basis for as long as money will allow. The savings the family had was depleted during the long recovery Miranda had the previous year with the blood clot emergency & hospital stay in Peoria, IL. They have not been able to replace their savings that was used then. They are still trying to pay off some debts from that occurrence.  My niece's mother, Shirley, is my baby sister. Our family had an emergency on Sept 30, 2018 when our mother was in a severe single vehicle accident caused by diabetes where her blood-sugar dropped so low she lost control of her van, hit a mailbox & 3 trees at an estimated 65mph. Our family is going through a lot emotionally & financially. We're a proud family that has only ever asked for help amongst each other. This is truly a last resort. The cost of traveling back & forth, food, & paying bills for a minimum of 1 month will be difficult, or even impossible finacially for Miranda's parents. Our family is doing our best to pull together, but with all that's happening, including taking care of my injured mother (& stepfather with Parkinson's) for the next several weeks while she heels from her car wreck has us in a very difficult position. We are a family of faith & I ask for many prayers & would love a prayer chain.  My deep, unrelenting faith in our Father in Heaven tells me in my heart that both families will receive the help they truly need.  We are all so thankful that these two amazing girls survived this horrific accident. They both have a long, physical & emotionally painful recovery ahead of them. My heart aches for both girls & I pray they lean on each other during their recovery.
I thank you all for reading this long story. I thank all who pray for the families.  Thank you so, so much for any financial assistance you are able to give.  When our family gets through this difficult time we will go back to being the family that gives. Our family doesn't have a lot, but we've always tried to be a family that gives help to others in need. Thank you again for your time, prayers, & assistance.
