Chief's Vet Bill

Donation protected
On Thursday morning(May 24th) we took Chief to the vet because he was vomiting, not eating, and was not his normal playful self. After some blood work and x-rays, our vet determined that he had an intestinal blockage. Chief is a puppy still and we knew the chances of him eating something he shouldn't have were high. We went ahead with the exploratory surgery to remove the blockage.
That evening our vet called us to tell us that Chief probably had eaten something but it wasn't causing a physical blockage of his system. He had ingested something that had caused his small intestine to become extremely inflamed and painful.
Chief is still recovering from his surgery and receiving medication to try and reduce the inflammation in order to unblock his system. His treatment is on a day-by-day basis and we have no clear answers as to when he will recover.
Our vet is wonderful and is doing everything in her power to help Chief but the longer his recovery takes the larger his vet bill gets. His current estimate just for x-rays, blood work, and exploratory surgery is just over $1000. Any and all funds collected will go to aiding his recovery.
Chief is my fiance and my first fur baby together and he means the world to us. Especially my fiance, whom Chief lives with. Chief is a gentle giant and cuddle-bug that enjoys being the little spoon. He is young and growing and full of life and we love him dearly. We just want to get him back home and healthy.
Thank you for any and all support.
