Hello Everyone!
My name is Cheyenne Breglia and I am starting this campaign to raise money for me to further my love of yoga through Yoga Teacher Training (YTT)!
I started taking yoga classes when I was in high school, but only truly fell in love with yoga about three years ago. I have been practicing yoga consistently since 2016 and have advanced my practice through the eight limbs, with special dedication to Asana (physical practice/postures), Pranayama (breath practice), and Dhyana (meditation). I have taken classes in the different practices of Vinyasa, Anusara, Yin, Restorative, Acro, Power, and Hot Yoga.
I have regular meetings with a Yoga Therapist to help me to foster a healthy and strong connection with my own body. In these meetings I listen, learn, and communicate with my body to better understand myself as a whole. Specifically, I have worked on fostering a healthy relationship with my skin, working through depression and anxiety, digestive issues, and self-love. All of these topics are worked on through meditation, yoga nidra, and Ayurvedic medicine.
I have come to describe myself as a yoga enthusiast, but I am ready to progress and become more than that. I want to use my knowledge and experiences with yoga to help others better their lives. Whether that is through physical practice, mental balance, or emotional grounding, I want to share all aspects of yoga and how they can benefit each and every one of us. Yoga is for everyone and goodness knows it has done incredible things for me!
The YTT program I am looking to take begins September 20th, 2019. The total for the 200hr training is $2,850. I must secure my spot with an $800 deposit ASAP. I am setting my goal at $3000 to account for the portion that GoFundMe receives.
This a large financial expense and a huge life step for me. Any amount you can give is loved and welcomed! That being said, donors who give $150 or above (provided you are not anonymous) will receive an original art piece, made by me.
