Chewicide, The Movie - Documentary Film
$3,450 of $7,500 goal
Chewicide "“ When you absolutely positively know that you shouldn't be eating that stuff that you are eating but you are hooked on the taste and thus justify continuing to do what you are accustomed to doing; that's Chewicide.
Ask FAKE DOCTOR KEIDI:
When your preferred nutritional lifestyle is directly associated with increased risk of life-threatening chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease, clogged arteries, diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney failure, obesity and mental illness; that's Chewicide.
When food is so absolutely, deliciously decadent that it literally is "to DIE for!"; that's Chewicide. Chewicide is a raging epidemic within the United States and the standard American diet, especially what is commonly called "poverty food," is the epitome of deadly cuisine.
Thanks for you support for this important documentary film. Together we can change the future and restore hope for a long, healthy life to many families within our communities.
Enjoy this short introduction to this concept of "Chewicide."
Thanks to all of you who have witness, affirmed and shared our compelling vision. We should expect a great harvest from our garden this year.
You're probably right. In calendar year 2014 I have so far financed the publication of 3 books and 1 documentary. I also spent a significant amount of money upgrading technical equipment for media production. In addition I have already implemented plans for 3 more books and 1-2 more documentaries.
What makes it crazier is the logistics of paying for all of this. It is a complicated set of formulas which involves setting aside weeks of labor time and, as you are well aware, time is money. One book took three years to complete while another took only about two weeks. I edited a film for the Pan African Technical Association in less than 24 hours while spending 6 weeks in editing and post-production for CHEWICIDE, THE MOVIE.
Now the interesting part begins. I do have to raise ultimately nearly $15 grand for distribution and marketing of the film. To get the products (books and DVD) at a reasonable enough rate that I can make a profit sufficient to keep me in the game, I must manufacture large quantities. Until the product sells, that requires significant amounts of development capital to be locked into unsold inventory. Therein lies the Catch-22 dilemma. I have to buy large quantities to get good prices to be able to make a profit and that locks up my cash which should be moving into marketing and distribution. And there have been no venture capitalists to step forward and see the long-term benefit of investing in this target market.
So I go to The People who would be beneficiary of these initiatives as ask them to help up front because it serves our mutual self interests. Therein lies the second dilemma: the people who seem to need these transforming instruments the most are the most reluctant or incapable ones of helping to finance our mutual salvation.
So, I deal with this dilemma every day in a multiplicity of ways. I sell my services at discount. Double up on product value by giving away bonuses for those that can and do support. As well, I look for Angels all around who are in the mindset of taking a chance on someone else's vision. All in all, I gotta say that Life has been good to me but surely demands that I have a high tolerance for pain.
Do your best. Help us all by helping me to help us all. It's going to be a long, protracted struggle and the odds are seemingly overwhelming. Yet in this arena of health, vitality, longevity and child protection, we cannot afford to give up without a great fight.
YOU could make a $25 contribution today and it will be more than tripled by my own investments. See what WE can do together!
Thanks to all of you who have assisted with this initiative. In the three months since this documentary went into full production we have learned so much about the art of filmmaking that we plan to utilize as permanent empowerment. It is now moving firmly into the marketing phase where the anticipated budget for getting the film widely received is anticipated to be at least 20% of the total budget.
Thus, even if the extended community which is being invited to be co-partners through this crowdfunding, if they were to complete the stilled requested $4335, it would still require me to raise nearly half of that myself through my own books sales, other products and services.
I have already committed to doing that because I am convinced that the outcome is worth the investment. That this "cultural commentary" will change the lives of those who see it. I'm witnessing this consistently with the audiences who have seen the film already and ask questions about the lifestyle shift.
This is MORE than just a movie. This is a movement. Now I as YOU to participate in providing the foundation for this empowering movement. I am so very grateful that some of you are taking this effort seriously.

Thanks to you all who have come on board and you will be wonderfully please with what you have invested. There is still a long way to go as I now have to come up with the marketing budget. Nonethless, we should be proud of ourselves for having some this far. I'll be shipping out copies on Monday and Tuesday to all of the crowdfunding investors who opted for the DVD package. As well, with the books, I have a limited number but will send them out in the order that they donations were made until I'm able to RAISE MORE FUNDS to replenish the book stock.
Come on family, we still have nearly 60% of our original goal to achieve. We can do much better than 40% of our planned vision!
