A price above rubies: Cherie's kids

What is the measure of an amazing woman? Cherie Saportas, mother of pthree, was a person everyone strived to be. She encumbered what we strive to be each day, never once thinking of herself, only living for her three beautiful children, age eight and twins age five.
Cherie fought Cancer for over five years. She underwent treatment after treatment valiantly and with grace.
If you asked Cherie's closest friends, you would never have known she was suffering. She talked of the future, her dream of her son attending North Shore for his schooling in Great Neck, NY. She spoke of her love for Judaism and her want for her children to enjoy to be close to their family always.
In the past month, radiation took a significant toll on Cherie, leading her to multiple hospitalizations. A family trip was planned for months upon months to Florida. Oh how these children loved Florida. Cherie begged the doctors to let her go to Florida. They told her she was too weak and had to get stronger. She insisted on her family taking the trip. Once again, always thinking of others.
A few days prior to the evening of the first Seder, Cherie had to go to the hospital. Once admitted, she fought bravely for her life. On Sunday April 24th, Cherie passed away, after the first two days of Passover were over. Holding on for her family and for the Chag to be over. Now, Cherie's light lives on through her three beautiful children who will remember the following:
Through five years of battle, Cherie stood like a healthy woman, making sure her son Liam, with more energy than a group of teenagers was picked up and spun around like a Ferris wheel. She hugged and kissed her daughter Romi each day with the warmth of the sun. Cherie gave her daughter Yuval undivided attention to her inquisitive mind and when she asked if mommy was going to be there each day when she returned, she would merely say, "Don't worry my love, I'll always be here."
With your help, Cherie's children will continue to have the support her and her husband have given to their children. Her husband works around the clock to support these beautiful souls, never a man to ask for anything...but would welcome the support to be able to make Cherie's dreams for her children come true.
All funds will be used to support the children's education in and support the specific educational needs that include, tuition, books, computers, tutoring, daycare needs, etc.
This is a difficult request for a proud family who have never asked for anything from anyone. Any support that can be given would be most appreciated.
