Chenglong Li Memorial Fund

Chenglong Li, Maharishi University of Management Computer Science Student, died in a hit and run car accident in Orlando, Florida on November 18, 2018. The police are still investigating the accident while his family and friends are in great sorrow. Chenglong Li, a 25-year-old man from Sichuan, China, was well known by friends and professors as an especially kind and gentle friend and student, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He began his internship as a software developer just one month ago. Just when Chenglong had taken his first step into a very bright future both for himself and his family, his life came to an abrupt end.

His family is devastated, and is trying to make arrangements for his funeral, which includes transportation of the body from the US to China. There are many expenses involved. Students, friends, and faculty have come together to set up this memorial fund and to reach out to those who knew him and to anyone else who may be moved to help his family in this difficult time. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. 

About me and the party I am raising funds for:
I am Mei Li, an instructor at Maharishi University of Management in Iowa, originally from China. I am raising funds for the family of my Chinese student Chenglong Li. The funds will be used by the family to cover whatever expenses they have had in this tragedy.

About Yu Luo and the party I am raising funds for:
Yu Luo is a dear friend of Chenglong's family. Chenglong's mom and sister are living with her in Orlando now to take proper care of Chenglong's remains and related concerns. Since the funds cannot be sent directly to China or the family(they don't have a U.S. account), the funds will be sent to Yu Luo first, then Yu Luo will transfer to the family.
