Chemical Immobilization Course
Hey, everyone!
As many of you know, I have a profound passion for animals and have dedicated my life to them through my career, working my way up the ladder and constantly striving to acquire new knowledge and skills in order to provide them with the best lives I possibly can.
One way that I am currently hoping to improve myself is through a Wildlife Handling and Chemical Immobilization Course offered at Wolf Haven International in Tenino, Washington.
This course will go over a few concepts that I'm already well-versed in, but it will also teach me new skills that are essential for working with hands-off and potentially dangerous animals like wolves, big cats, and bears (which, for those of you that don't know, is what I specialize in).
Specifically, this course will teach me all about how to safely utilize sedatives to immobilize animals for routine medical care or in emergency situations. This is not only a safe technique, but less stressful and more humane for use in regards to certain animals.
The cost for this course is not cheap, nor are the associated costs of plane tickets and lodging... Therefore, I'm asking for your help! Please, if you can, help me get one step closer to being the best Animal Caretaker that I can be!
Thank you. <3
