Chelsea's New Treatment Sick Leave

For those of you who do not know, I have Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease. A good description of the disease can be found here: ( https://www.hss.edu/conditions_undifferentiated-connective-tissue-disease-overview.asp ) I originally was on another medication that started to hurt my liver and I was taken off that medication a year ago. Since then, my liver has almost fully healed, but my latest tests show im getting sicker. I have also missed approximately 9 weeks of work from last year due to various flare ups. I will be starting a new medication February 1st. This new medication will cause me to become very ill for weeks, but within months, I should be symptom free and have my life back. Because of this I will have to take a leave of absence from work or reduce my hours to the very minimal. Since this will be happening through my birthday, I ask for no one to buy me any presents or dinners, instead, we ask for gofundme donations to help us get through February bills since I make up a little over 2/3 of our household income. I feel really wierd asking this but it's for those who planned on doing something like a birthday dinner or small present anyways. It would really help us because while I am sick, Garrett Fernando will also be taking a few days off to take care of me. Thank you.
