Chelsea High School Bike Rack

I am an boy scout and I am working towards my Eagle. For my Eagle Scout project, I am going to build a new bike rack for my school, Chelsea High School, because as you can see in the picture above our current bike rack is in disrepair. My goal isn't just to replace the current bike rack at my school, but to promote more people biking to and from my school. Every student and teacher, who bikes to my school, will greatly benefit and will no longer need to worry about the safety of their bike. My school doesn't have the funds to purchase a new bike rack and all of the donations will go into purchasing the bike rack and the necessary supplies to install it. I am currently working with my principal in an attempt to make this dream a reality and I hope to be able to raise all $800 by November 1, 2017.
