Chef Sherie Fighting off Hodgkins

Hello my name is Sherie DiBernardo. As of October 17th I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. For those who are not aware this is recongized as cancer of the lymph system. It is a part of your immune system that helps transport infection fighting white blood cells throughout the body. My journey began this past June when I was hospitialized for what the doctors thought was pancreatitis, but after nurmerous tests and biopsy's along with the surgical removal of a plum size lymph node Hodgkins was the end result. During those four months not only did I have endless trips to the E.R but nausia, exhaution, inflamation of my leg, pain and discomfort were all factors of my sickness. My demands of being a Chef, a wife and being a mother of three took a toll on all of us. Currently I have just begun chemotherapy and  I am creating this page for myself because it has been a very long, stressful, and emotional path financially and physically.
