Chaverim: 5 Towns and Rockaways

Chaverim is an all volunteer organization which provides assistance to motorists who have flat tires, need boosts, locked their keys in the car or home, or run out of gas. We have over 75 members to ensure an average response time of 5 minutes.
We have around  30 dedicated community members to handle our phone lines so we can dispatch calls 24/6. We handle approximately 250 calls per month.

As this is an all-volunteer organization, we rely on community support to cover our operating budget.

The cost to equip a member's car is about $500. Our total operating cost per year is about $20,000.
