Chastian Conley Medical Fund

$3,825 of $25,000 goal

Raised by 54 people in 12 months
My sister, Chastian Conley, had a stroke on 6/25 while driving her car. Thank goodness her boyfriend John was in the car with her because he saved her life. He was able to steer the car to safety and bring her back to life.

She is currently in the hospital receiving treatment for the stroke and its side effects.  She is experiencing weakness/numbness on her left side, double vision, and dizziness.  She will soon be moved to a rehab facility in order to receive weeks of extensive physical therapy.  She will need therapy to learn to walk again and perform daily activities. She has a long recovery ahead and would appreciate any support you can offer.

If you know my sister then you know she is a light to those around here. She will give you a smile, a hug, and most definitely a laugh to make sure you are having a good day. 30948780_1530234424268441_r.jpeg

Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister. It’s been 8 weeks since she had a stroke and began the long battle of recovery. She is a fighter and gives 100% everyday to her therapy. Today is her birthday and at this time she is still in a rehab hospital full time. We hope she will be able to come to our house next week and begin outpatient rehab.
She’s been out of work for 8 weeks and hasn’t received a paycheck in 6 weeks. She has many more weeks of recovery before she can return to work. If you would like to donate as a birthday gift for her it would be greatly appreciated.

She loves and appreciates all of your support during her recovery.

It’s now been three weeks since my sister Chastian had a stroke. She is recovering but has a very long road ahead of her. She still suffers from double vision, dizziness, nausea, and muscle weakness/numbness on her left side. She is unable to walk on her own and is currently confined to a wheelchair. She is at a rehab hospital where she receives 3 hours of therapy each day and will hopefully move to another facility this week that specializes in stroke rehabilitation where she will receive up to 8 hours of therapy each day.

We are celebrating the small wins daily. Yesterday she was able to walk 30 feet with a walker. Big win! She is working very hard at therapy daily to improve her recovery.

She has many more weeks/months of recovery ahead of her. She is currently not being paid as she only had two weeks of vacation time available when this happened three weeks ago. She appreciates any support you can offer. She is extremely grateful and humbled by all of your kindness.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Give her a call or send her a message if you know her as she can use all the love and good vibes we have to offer. Thanks.
