Chasing the title

Hey guys,
My name is Walid and I'm a purple belt in BJJ (Brazilian jujitsu).
For over 4 years I have been training and have dedicated any spare moment to furthering my self in BJJ. I attend as many seminars and workshops that I can.  Jujitsu is release - a passion that I never knew I had until I began training.
So I've got a dream - it's to be one of the top ranked Jujitsu competitors in the world- God Willing!

Apart from competing, I also conduct street smart and bully proof workshops for kids and youth.

I've been blessed to do some workshops with kids from disadvantaged backgrounds; with different Not for Profit groups, who have never had access to self defense sports, it provides a release as well of protection for these kids. I believe strongly in giving back to community.

I feel like I've had this amazing opportunity given to me with BJJ. I mean everyone has their 'thing' and this is mine.

As a kid growing up in Egypt I would sneak in to martial arts classes and copy the moves from the back door - I never thought I'd have the opportunity to be in an Amazing place like Australia and train and compete in a sport I thought I never had access to, due to my life circumstances.

I've been given an opportunity to travel to the US for 3 weeks and train with some of the world greats which will be a game changer - the things I can learn will just be incredible and will help me in getting one step closer to achieving my dream God Willing.

That's where I need your support, I have been granted some funds for private classes with world class practitioners but I am raising money here for the airfare and accomodation in both LA and New York, as this opportunity has came knocking at my door, I would love to give it a shot!

$400 group training sessions
