Help Charlene win Miss DC!

Hey y'all! Thank you so much for coming to my page. Your consideration alone means the world to me.

So, this year, I am honored, enthralled, (and a little overwhelmed) to compete for the title of Miss DC. This is a preliminary round for the Miss America Organization-- so if I were fortunate to win, I'd be in the runnings for Miss America! 

This is my first pageant with this organization. I've been in several at my college and was crowned Miss Freshman last year. But now I have an opportunity to use this as a scholarship opportunity and stepping stone for my career- as well as push a platform and represent an area that has taken me in and molded me in ways beyond imagination.

But it's expensive. I need your help, and any dollar would help. The swimsuit alone is $250 dollars, which is mandatory. Once I get that down and paid for, I think everything else (makeup, hair, evening gowns, interview outfits, shoes, fitness training) will handle itself... hopefully! 

The pageant is in June! We can do this!
