Here is a little back history on our sweet girl we were fostering her from 5 weeks of age due to her mother attacking her litter within 3 days of being born we picked her up on the way home from eloping in Reno Nevada and never stopped loving this little baby burrito around 7 months of age we decided to have her leg amputated due to it moving around and causing sores. Currently, she has an autoimmune disorder  Symmetrical lupoid onychodystrophy (SLO) is a syndrome in dogs that involves multiple nails/claws on all four paws. The age of onset is typically between 3 and 8 years of age. SLO causes widespread onychoschizia (fissured or split nails), onychorrhexis (breaking of a nail which has become brittle), onychomadesis (sloughing process of nails), and/or onychogryphosis (deformation of the nail) - She has been pretty painful on the nails that are breaking off at the base of her nail so we are taking her back in next Thursday to have them cut off at the base of the nail its extremely painful we also have to be careful of sedation as she doesn't do  very well recovering. She is currently on I believe about 5 different medications including an antibiotic that is going to help with her current staph infection that she has in her bladder. We always knew she would be our special girl and all 4 of our dogs have special needs as well as the dogs I pet sit for its truly a blessing to be able to help and take care of our furry babies. I know it is the holiday season but if you can donate or share this anything it would be helpful. Thank you again!
