Charlie Hall's Bench Memorial
Donation protected
Charlie loved to hike. One of Charlie's many friends (Cindy) proposed that a bench placed in one of his favorite hiking spots would be a nice way to honor his memory. Another friend (Ed) who works with wood volunteered to build the bench.
Lord Hill Park in Snohomish is one of many areas that Charlie liked to hike and it is relatively accessible to his friends. Many of us hiked with him there. Martin reached out to the Snohomish County Parks Department to ask about placing a bench there, and they would be happy to have us do so. Since Ed volunteered to build the bench, all we need to do is raise the funds for the concrete pad and installation.
For some reason, they don't allow the plaque on the bench to read, "In Memory of....", but they will allow us to have his name on the plaque with a few others words.
Please consider donating to help us raise the funds for the concrete pad and installation. We will make everyone aware of the bench location and hopefully will be able to travel there together see it after installation. Any funds raised in excess of $700 will go to the three charities identified by Charlie's family.
