Charlene's campaign for Rushton Dog Rescue

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Rushton Dog Rescue, and any donation will help make an impact. 

Last year, during a protest march in London to protest against the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China, i met Zoe.... Zoe is the daughter of Cindy, whom both run the Rushton Dog Rescue in the south of England, along with their dedicated team.
During this brief but eye opening encounter with Zoe, not only did i hear first hand, some of the outrageously barbaric and distressing experiences she and her organisation continue to witness but also learnt of their amazing hard work. Their projects, ranging from rescue missions from the dog meat trade in China to their continuous efforts to rehabilitate and re-home these poor animals, to name but a few....

My decision to help raise money for Rushton Dog Rescue is due to recently learning that once these lucky canines have been saved from a  torturous and timely death, the struggle does not end there.... 
The rescued dogs that do not require emergency attention, are sent to and reside at large but loving warehouses, until they can be re-homed. These warehouses can hold up to 10,000 dogs at one time and some dogs have been known to reside here for up to 8 years. The running costs for just food alone at these sanctuaries can rack up to £1000's per month. 

On the 5th September 2019 at approx 14:00 i will be doing a tandem skydive at Beccles, Suffolk airfield. The money that i will be raising will help to contribute towards dog food and other doggie necessities for these sanctuaries in China.

Dog is Man’s (and Women’s) best friend... not to be tortured, killed and eaten!
