Refugee Youth and Adult Empowerment Initiative

Gospel Elevation Talent of Africa (GETA) is a program to discover, support, and promote Christian African refugee musicians. The program gathers African refugee musicians from Northeast Wisconsin to encourage each other in their Christian walk and improve in their musical skills. It is an effort to create a bridge between a great African Christian musical heritage and integrate this with the musical skills and abilities being gained in America. The program’s desire is for people to use their God given musical gifts and pour back into their local church.

Our Goal:

We aim to raise $20,000 to acquire musical instruments, including keyboards, acoustic guitars, drum kits, bass guitar, solo guitar, microphones, mixers, and speakers.These instruments will enable us to create a richer, more engaging worship experience and reach the hearts of those who need it most.
