You can make a difference by donating today to Oakland County Foster Closet.
The Oakland County Foster Closet located in Farmington Hills, MI offers supplies, such as clothes, shoes, coats, toys, books, hygiene items, and baby items to families with children in the foster care system as well as to families in need. We are looking to move into our forever home so that we can continue helping the kids in Michigan.
We currently serve an average of 250 children per month with all of their basic essentials for free. We are adding depth to our program and need additional space for these programs. We are looking to increase our Haircare for People Like Me program, our special needs education program, our Birthday Bag program, our Hygiene room, our toy room and so many more areas that we are expanding. We need your help to do it.
The Oakland County Foster Closet started in one bedroom of our founders home. We are now in a 4,000 sq ft space with 2 10x30 storage units. We receive compliments about how clean and organized our space is, even with how packed we are.
We are partnered with the Farmington Public Schools, Neighborhood House, Cares of Farmington Hills food bank, Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Park West Foundations, Another Way Pregnancy Center, Redford Pregnancy Center, Anderson Life Development and so many more. We are able to make a difference in our community because of your support. We need you.
