2023 Swim-a-Thon

Competitive group members are swimming for distance to raise money for our Outreach Program to help other kids learn to swim.
2023 Swim-A-Thon
Date: June 2, 2023
Location: Maxcy Hall Pool, SUNY Potsdam, Potsdam, N.Y.
Details: 12 and under members (stroke school, blue age group and some red age group swimmers) will begin at 5:00 pm and will swim for an hour non-stop for distance. Swimmers 13 and over (red age group, juniors, and seniors) will begin at 6:20 pm swimming 200 lengths for time or two hours non-stop, whichever comes first.
The money we raise will support crucial programs for our swim team in the coming season like our Outreach Program. We are working to strengthen the sport by saving lives and building champions – in the pool and in life. Whether equipping our children with the life-saving skill of lean-to-swim through our Learn to Swim Program or providing financial support to our amateur athletes, the Outreach Program aims to provide the wonderful experience of swimming to kids at all levels across the North Country who otherwise would not be able to.
