Living Free Health & Fitness, A Non-Profit Corporation

Want to join me in making a big difference in peoples' lives? I'm raising money to benefit Living Free Health & Fitness, founded and run over the past decade by Shelley Poerio, a student-athlete college friend of mine, who has dedicated her life to helping people overcome their addictions and live their best lives. Living Free Health & Fitness is a non-profit corporation that treats addiction with whole-health solutions. They serve rural Nevada via outpatient and transitional living services, a sober cafe, and soon a fitness facility, that these funds will help expand.

Shelley believes that fitness plays a integral part in helping recovering individuals develop healthy mental and physical habits that improve success rates. I can think of no-one more suited than Shelley to oversee this healthy program, given she was once the Stanford Track Captain, held many weight room records, and always had an encouraging word to help people reach peak performance. I believe this expansion of Living Free into fitness will allow Shelley to really amplify her talents and reach into her community, and set a model for others to follow nationally.
