Delaware Township No Shave November 2024
Officers will raise money throughout November to help support 'The Remembering Scott Oldenburg (R.H.S.O.) Foundation'. Henry 'Scott' Oldenburg was a Readington Township Police Lieutenant who succumbed to pancreatic cancer at the young age of 42. The foundation was created in his remembrance to not only support pancreatic cancer research, but also help support local families dealing with loved ones fighting pancreatic cancer. While raising money, officers will be forgoing shaving for the month to show solidarity and support during 'No Shave November'. We appreciate any funds you may donate! Thank you!

Frenchtown PD: No Shave November & December 2024
The Frenchtown Borough Police Department and members of the Hunterdon County PBA Local 188 are once again participating in No-Shave November, a fundraiser aimed at evoking conversation about cancer and men's health. This year, we are raising money to support a local cause in Hunterdon County. The Remembering Henry Scott Oldenburg (R.H.S.O) Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2008 in honor of Lt. Scott Oldenburg of the Readington Township Police Department. Lt. Oldenburg was a police officer, father, husband, brother, son, uncle, and friend to many. Although he lost his battle to pancreatic cancer at the age of 42, Lt. Oldenburg's giving spirit and desire to "pay it forward" has driven his foundation to fulfill a mission to support not only pancreatic cancer research but also assist local families fighting against cancer, just as so many helped Lt. Oldenburg when he needed it most.

We have continued into December this year to help grow the awareness, donations, and our beards! Thank you to all of those who have considered donating to this cause!

Hunterdon County PBA 188 Shop With a Cop 2024
The holiday season is almost upon us, and the Hunterdon County Police Benevolent Association (PBA) 188 wishes to spread holiday cheer to those that cannot afford it, through a program called “Shop with a Cop”. This program uses charitable funds to purchase gifts for families in need, but also promotes community policing between the individual departments and their residents by having the local police officers bring a child representative from a family to Walmart (in Flemington) to shop.

Our association is looking for individual and corporate donations to help fund this fantastic multi year running event. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be going towards purchasing gifts for families in need during this season of giving.

If you prefer to provide support directly to a family within your town, please reach out to your local participating police department and the department liaison for the event will contact you.

We appreciate any and all contributions so we may bring Holiday Cheer to those in need.
