Donate Life is a cause that means a lot to me because my Dad was a recipient of a liver transplant in 2003. He suffered from a genetic liver disease and spent a long and arduous time waiting for a transplant when his disease progressed to the point where it was necessary. I will never forget the incredible gift that transplant proved to be for my Dad and our family. Donate Life was a key ally in my Dad's journey and the work they do is instrumental in saving and improving quality of life for countless people every year.

Donate Life America is a 501(c)3 non-profit alliance of national partners and state teams committed to increasing organ, eye and tissue donation and developing a culture of trusted donation expectation.

We created a go-fund me page to collect donations for two charity’s near and dear to our hearts.

Donate life America a non profit committed to increasing the number of registered organ, eye, and tissue donors across the United States.

The Hidden Genius Project trains and mentors black male youth in technology creation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills to transform their lives and communities.

Dick's biggest wish in life was to receive a kidney donation so that he could continue to enjoy life with his family and friends. Unfortunately, this wish was not fulfilled before we lost Dick - a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend to so many. 

All who knew Dick, knew what a unique person he was. He brought joy and smiles to all he touched. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you help honor Dick's memory by helping to fulfill his wish, which is now the wish of so many others currently waiting on an organ donation. All money donated in Dick's honor will go directly to Donate Life America, a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to promoting the life-saving choice of both living and deceased organ donation.
