The mission of the DRMT is to bring hope, healing, and help to the very poor in bateyes and barrios of the Dominican Republic: raising awareness and funding; providing the means for the very poor to improve their living conditions; and leading large annual missions trips to work directly with the very poor in the DR. Our primary areas of focus are construction, health, education, clean water, and nutrition, and other sustainable programs. The entire organization is made up of volunteers. The DRMT is committed to the following goals: • Working with local Dominican mission partners to serve those in poverty. • Provide opportunities and experiences for US volunteers to serve on the mission field in the DR.
