Support the South Bend Commons
The South Bend Commons is dedicated to autonomous self-organization in the south Atlanta area. Since opening our doors in 2018, we’ve become a vibrant hub for a diverse range of activities and events. We now host a range of projects in the space from weekly free grocery distribution and communal dinners to music shows, art events, peer support groups, movie screenings, open print shop hours and political study groups.
As a fully volunteer-run organization, we rely entirely on small donations to keep our doors open. This year, we are working to raise $15,000 to:
• Pay off our mortgage
• Purchase new furniture
•Install a much-needed air conditioner
•Upgrade our kitchen to better serve our communal dinners
• Install a second bathroom
• Pay our taxes and insurance
• Upgrade our library
