The Mission of the American Youth Literacy Foundation, Inc., 501 c 3, dba FUNetix, is to end the children's literacy crisis in America by Thanksgiving of 2025 by ensuring that EVERY child in the United States of America is given a full, fair and fighting chance to learn how to read, while we simultaneously, radically improve literacy outcomes for millions of children worldwide. FUNetix is a patented, 100% free, "Learn-to-Read" app and curriculum. The technology reduces the time it takes children to learn how to read, to just 12 hours. FUNetix borrows an ancient technology from Hebrew and Arabic, called “diacritics,” and uniquely applies it to English to reveal the hidden sounds in every English word, thereby accelerating literacy acquisition in 97+% of children by a factor of 7-10X.
