Ryan's Fundraiser for Mental Health America
Hi everybody, my name is Ryan Cummings. I'm currently 19 years old and a Sophomore at Villanova University. Depression and anxiety are two things I have suffered greatly with the past several years. As a personal project, I'm raising money to benefit the American Mental Health Foundation. Any donation will help make an impact. My goal is to raise awareness towards all the people around the world suffering from poor mental health, and let them know they're not alone. We're all only human. It's okay to not be okay! Too often, people choose to keep their personal issues to themselves, often resulting in increased anxiety. I chose to show a picture of my parents and I because of how much they have been there for me over the years. Even in my lowest moments, I know I can count on them for anything. That said, there's always someone out there who can help. Society is a better place when people can be themselves. I want to help make it easier for people to love themselves, because every person brings their own unique impact to everyday. Mental health is something that can become very overwhelming and strong, but not impenetrable. You're not alone, and I'm always here for you no matter what.
