Chaperone support for Steph in SA

As most of us know, Steph is an ardent cricket fan and she departed the UK on New Year's day to follow the latest test in South Africa, support the England team and hopefully enjoy celebrating an England victory with friends undertaking the same trip.
After attending the first three days of the test she became unwell and as a result was admitted into hospital with kidney failure.
As her medical condition is serious and she is unfit to fly she will have to remain in hospital whilst her current travel companions return to the UK on their planned booked flights - we cannot thank you enough for staying with Steph and supporting her during this crisis.
Campaign Objective & Purpose
The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds to be able to send up to two friends at time to South Africa to be at Steph's bedside and act as chaperone and ally so that she does not have to go through any of this alone, thousands of miles away from home - for as long as is necessary .
We have busied ourselves in changing holiday plans and rescheduling work commitments in order to be able to ensure Steph will always have the support by her side from someone that she knows whether it be for the short or the long term and have given her our undertaking she will never be left alone - we're going to drive her mad and hound her out of her hospital bed and back to the UK if we have to !
If it is required and sufficient funds are available these will be used to support the medical evacuation of Steph subject to the approval and conditions set out by her medical team and insurance company.
I ,Stuart Tavinor will act act as the administrator of the campaign and all monies raised via the GoFundMe page will be drawn into my bank account for allocation.
Fund Allocations
Allocations will be made either directly to airlines, hotels or car hire companies etc. enabling friends to travel or to those friends themselves so that they are able to make their own arrangements. Funds will also be made available to cover any items necessary that are outside of the travel and medical insurance policy cover or require payment in advance. Any monies claimable from the insurance policy derived from the campaign will be refunded to the campaign.
Excess funds.
If there should be an excess of funds when this journey is complete these will be used to fund the ongoing care for Steph until she is fully recovered or until the funds are exhausted. If a donor should request a refund the refund will be processed according to their % contribution to the total amount raised. For the avoidance of any doubt if a donor has contributed 1% of the total amount raised they will receive a 1% value of the remaining fund excess.
You are under no obligation to donate, your love and support are priceless and there will be many other ways you can help the longer this journey continues.
