Family needing roof over head
Donation protected
On April 13, 2018 around 1PM my parents (Davis and Rosie Reid) trailer roof was destroyed by the strong wind storms they had in Shiprock, NM. The roof covered their bedroom, two closets, and the kitchen area. It had blown off the tin sheets, insulation, water heater pipes, furnace, vent covers, and water gutters. The wind did a lot of damage not only on the outside, but the inside as well. My parents and others in the household have no hot water and they have no way of turning on the furnace for the heater at night because they were told it could start a fire with all the electrical wiring exposed. The electric is still working but were advised to keep it to a minimum. There are holes in the roofing where the vents and the furnace were at. We need help with getting the roof that was damaged fixed with new materials, any volunteers that could help, someone to check the HVAC System for the furnace, an electrician to check all the wiring on top, and a new furnace. Please share and help spread the word, anything helps. Thank you!
