Channan Petrides Funeral

So many of you may have heard of Channan Petrides. She suffered from Cystic Fibrosis and back in 2014 she was given a life expectancy of 12-18months. She decided to use this time to make memories and raise money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust through many fundraising events.
Channan lived life to the fullest, always with such positivity. On October 3rd 2016, at the age of 23, Channan peacefully passed away surrounded by friends and family, her presence was needed somewhere else.
Her twin sister Courtny, who has just finished university, has had to organise and pay the funeral proceedings as her and Channan both have no contact with their parents. With lots of help from family members and close friends, she has had an overwhelming level of support, in order to try and raise the funds needed for the funeral Channan deserves. However, we haven't managed to raise all of the money needed and we would be extremely humble if we could reach out to the community to achieve this.
Channan's funeral is taking place on Tuesday 18th October and so far we have managed to raise £2000 from very kind and grateful donations and a grant from the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, but we are still short of the total needed which amounts to £5000. We have decided to set up this GoFundMe page due to the high number of requests from people who would like to help.
Channan touched the lives of many, something we are aware of and the kind messages we have recieved have been extremely helpful during this difficult time.
We hope to give Channan a send off that she deserves, and this is simply something Courtny cannot do on her own.
Any donations recieved would be extremely helpful and any amount in excess of the total required will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a very important chairty close to our hearts.
