Matt's story:
For Matt, everything changed at YFC Camp two years ago!
Matt, who had been labeled a “problem child,” went to YFC Camp a rebellious, hard-to-control, loud, defiant middle school boy. He came from a difficult family situation, and his father was absent from the home.
On the last night of YFC Camp, the gospel was presented and students were given some time to reflect and write their responses down. Matt’s answer was YES to Jesus! He didn’t own a Bible, so his leader gave him one. Matt started reading the Bible and became so engrossed in it that he read for two hours, skipping the “neon glow” party and instead continued to read his Bible.
After returning home, Matt’s mother noticed an obvious change in him. His mother sent Matt's leader this text message: "I am so unbelievably grateful that my son came home from camp reading the Bible. Thank you, and praise the Lord!"
Matt is no longer a “problem child. ’ He is now a child of God!
