Turn His Year Around

On New Years Day, Chris had just dropped his 16 month old son off and was headed home. He was driving on Route 12 at Case Road in Wauconda when a Pathfinder came across four lanes of traffic and Tboned the car Chris was driving. Chris spun a few times and ended up trapped in a ditch when his car finally came to a stop. Most people continued to pass the accident until one guardian angel stopped and kept him alert and calm while help was on the way. Thanks to the first responders who used the jaws of life to get Chris out of the vehicle and get him to the hospital where he spent 3 hours in surgery, Chris will eventually recover. But not without a very long road ahead of him. Chris broke his femur in 5 places and the bone came out of his skin. During surgery they were able to somewhat put the femur back in place with the help of steel rods. Due to the severity of his injury, Chris will be out of work for 6 to 8 weeks and will need extensive physical therapy. Because of the job Chris has he will be out of work without pay. He is a single father, no paycheck, extensive recovery and bills that are beginning to add up. Chris is the one that helps others. He is the one to do a good deed and not want anything in return. He is the one who enjoys going out of his way to make things easier for everyone else but now is our time to help Chris. Let’s turn his year around.
