Chandra's Insulin Fund
Donation protected
Hello friends and family. So as most of you know I have Type 1 Diabetes meaning I'm insulin-dependent and have to give myself shots every day. Lots of shots. Like 4-5 shots a day, and not the fun kind they sing about in that song. Unfortunately these shots are expensive, and currently (until February 1st) I don't have health insurance, meaning that I'm paying out of pocket for EVERYTHING. I got super lucky and found an extra vial of insulin in my refrigerator, BUT alas I take 2 types of insulin every day and I'm needing help with the 2nd vial, so that I don't run out. One vial of insulin costs about $288 and lasts for a month. The syringes cost about $1/1 syringe and since I'm taking about 4-5 shots a day, they can get pretty pricey too. I just need help with the insulin, though, and anything over $288 will go towards the syringes. I'm aware the holidays just passed, and that people might be low on money, but if you have anything left, please donate. I would sincerely appreciate it, as... you know... I would very much like to survive into 2018. Or at least until February lol. (But seriously... and thanks!)
