Chance's Heartworm Fund

Meet Chance, a two year old husky/yellow lab mix. He has an interesting story as far as we know. He was found at a truck stop and brought to Savannah, Georgia. The family that found him could not keep him and found him an alternate home. About a week after that, he was handed to two SCAD students who were enjoying an after class sandwich at Butterhead Greens Cafe. Since then they have found him a temporary foster home until he can be registered as an emotional support animal. Chance currently has a warm home, a loving family, and food, but he was recently diagnosed with heartworms.  Heartworm treatment is expensive and as college students we do not have the money to pay for it. This is our predicament. Chance is a wonderful, sweet, loving dog, but without treatment, Chance will eventually die from his heartworm infestation. This gofundme is to raise money to pay for treatment, so he can lead a normal, happy life with his new family and friends. We hope to raise $1,500 by February 22, 2017 to cover the costs of treatment.
