Chalia Karlstrom Health Care Assistance Fund

As many of you may know, Chalia was rushed to Enloe hospital by ambulance over 2 weeks ago. She spent over a week in the ICU battling for her life. Always a fighter, she has been moved from the ICU to a step down unit and is now entering the early stages of recovery. The recovery process will not be easy and will require extensive rehabilitation. Unfortunately, medical insurance is unlikely to cover the entire costs associated with the hospital stay, various medical treatments, tests, and ongoing rehabilitation. Additionally, because the rehabilitation process may be long, her family will likely have a significant income reduction until she is able to return to work fully. Those of you who know Chalia, know that her infectious sense of humor is matched only by the size her heart. She cares deeply for her friends, family, coworkers and community and goes out of her way to help others when they are in need. Please consider contributing to Chalia during her time of need.
