As many of you know on October 4th Dad suffered a perforated bowel, went into septic shock, and also suffered multiple pulmonary emboli. He has undergone 12 surgeries to date, has had a tracheostomy and is currently on a ventilator. He remains in the ICU at the Halifax Infirmary. It is estimated he will be in hospital until at the very least the new year. This will be followed by many months of rehabilitation in hospital and at home. Mom will be unable to work during this time, therefore anything you are willing to contribute in order to help them get through this stressful situation would be greatly appreciated.
