Government Shutdown Employee

As a Federal Worker, I am sure that I do not have to explain what is going on in this country. Once again Federal Workers are being used in the game of politics. With no end in sight to the shutdown we are left to try to fend for ourselves. Many of us are working paycheck to paycheck. I did not get paid the last check I have worked for before going on Christmas vacation. I was told I will not get it until the shutdown is over (SIGH). That means I am unable to pay this month's bill. I am asking for your help make this possible. I am only requesting help for one month. I am a Contractor for the United States Coast Guard here in DC but I have been working for the government for ten years, this is my third furlough. This is it for me, I have decided to return to the private sector. I have already begun searching for another job. I pray that I find something soon, but in the mean time, I have to keep a roof over my head and food on the table. I thank everyone in advance for your kindness.
