Cerebral Palsy Warrior needs your help.

My good friend Lucky needs your help. He has been a fighter his entire life dealing with Cerebral Palsy. No one I know is more determined or has more courage than him. He was a preemie at birth & had 13 corrective surgeries as a child, & learned to walk all over again. He was bullied in school & cried daily, but he learned to stand up for himself & fight back. He graduated from High School & went off to college, where he graduated with a double degree.
Unfortunately, life has taken its toll on him. Too many injuries in life have made him realize help is needed. He is unable to work anymore. I'm trying to arrange for him to get a specialized motorized wheelchair which can traverse stairs & get him into an upright position to walk, since he cannot get up without assistance. A fully equipped van so he can drive himself to gain a sense of independence again. He has over $40,000 in medical bills & debts from his downfall. My goal for him would be ultimately be in an assisted living facility to get him some daily care, while maintaining his independence.
Some background on what he has had to deal with is in order. Before his loss, he could run 10K's, lift incredible weights, such as squatting 315 lbs with ease, create his own band, Lucky Angel, where he was lead singer, & be the World's First Disabled Professional Wrestler.
When he came from home from work one day, he was walking & lost his balance & fell headfirst into the wall. He slammed his head so hard, that he was paralyzed from the neck down for a short period of time. Fortunately after almost an hour, his feelings returned, but after being evaluated in the hospital, he had to walk with a walker for an extended period of time & get help in dressing & bathing from his mother.
On Christmas night, he was walking up his sister's stairs, & he had lost his balance, falling down backwards an entire flight of stairs! He struck his head on the base of them, requiring 13 staples. He struck his head another time where he required 12 staples as well.
One of the most difficult times in his life was when he fought an antibiotic resistant infection in his right leg for 3 years. If treatment wasn't successful, his right leg would have been amputated. It was an excruciating experience.
He fell a few years ago & broke 4 ribs & was taken to the hospital, where they were negligent in his care. Lucky was dropped on the floor onto his broken ribs by the nurses who treated him. He developed complications, where he suffered from dehydration, & almost choked to death, by aspirating vomit while the staff didn't help. He was able to recover & get back on his feet in 2 months, inspiring others.
Setback after setback, being involved in a car accident & losing his vehicle, from a careless driver, was devastating. Being evicted from his apartment, due to the fact, his roommate was negligent. Once Lucky moved, the moving company took advantage of him, stealing his laptop, hard drives, & breaking his lift recliner.
So, I ask on his behalf in a sense of compassion, to help Lucky in his time of need. He has very little support where he now resides. This will give him a better quality of life, & hopefully the opportunity to move forward. Thank you.
